I'm Tal, an educator, teacher, teacher-trainer, curriculum developer, and educational speaker. I am a certified Chess-in-Schools teacher, FIDE chess Instructor, and the founder of Chess World chess school. Among many roles, over the past two decades I was also fortunate to be a member of The Israel Chess Federation Instruction Committee, serve as the CEO of Canada’s only chess-focused charity, and become a regularly invited speaker at the annual London Chess Conference, the world’s largest convention on chess and education.

The Thinking Different™ chess curriculum I created and developed was approved by education boards in several countries, chosen by the Ontario government as an enrichment and rehabilitation tool in Canadian prisons, and helped change the lives of Toronto at-risk youth. It has already made a difference in the lives of thousands of kids in hundreds of schools and community centres over the past two decades, and it continues to do so to this day.

In this free class, I share the tools and methods I developed and used in more than 20 years of helping children become better chess players while they grow as individuals, and how your child can do it too. Space in the live class is limited, click the link below and save your spot today.

"After one session it was evident that the Thinking Different™ chess program is about much more than teaching students how to play chess, but also a metaphor for using the strategies taught to conduct a successful and productive life. Teaching methods incorporated hands-on, visual, and auditory learning styles that highlighted the strengths of each student, encouraging success for all participants."
